On the conference convened in Beijing for praising China’s famous brand products 2006, Futong optical cable was jointly granted by State Quality Supervision, Inspection & Quarantine General Bureau and China Famous Brand Promotion Committee with title of “China famous brand product”, which is another honor after obtaining the title of “State inspection-free product” in 2003. This has shown full advantages and overall competitiveness of Futong optical fiber and optical cable famous brand products, and is the first time of listing the optical cable products into content of evaluation of China’s famous brand products, fully materializing important position of optical fiber and optical cable industry in national economy.
