In April 2006, the vice-minister of Ministry of IT Industry Jiang Yaopin led an investigation group came to the company for carrying out investigation on construction status of IT industry innovation capability of Futong Shareholding. The President of Futong Shareholding Wang Jianyi received the group at the Yinhe Factory. Through the site-visit and acquisition of relevant conditions, the listened briefing of the enterprise, highly appraised the achievements reached by Futong Shareholding in respect of IT manufacture realm and its innovation construction capability.
Vice-Minister Jiang Yaoping and the investigation group successively visited the fiber-drawing working procedure of preformed bar of optical fiber production site of the company. Vice-Minister Jiang Yaoping asked the production, technology and marketing conditions in details, and pointed problems from time to time. The respective technicians gave answers one after another. Vice-Ministr Jiang Yaoping highly appraised self-relying innovation, R&D of production equipment, modification, optimization of production technology, enhancing products quality, and measure for reducing production cost.
On the symposium, President Wang Jianyi introduced to the Vice-Minister Jiang Yaoping about the development status and achievements obtained in IT products manufacture realm by independent innovation. After listening the briefing, Vice-Minister Jiang Yaoping pointed out that Futong Shareholding has done very well in respect of independent innovation capability construction and obtained good achievements, working practically and going in the front rank. He said, to realize transfer of China’s IT industry from large to strong, it is necessary to take the innovation capability construction as the long-term strategic task. Currently, the Ministry is investigating how to enhance the innovation capability construction of the IT industry. Strengthening of innovation capability construction of the IT industry should take the enterprise as the main body, guided by the market, and make great efforts to encourage and support enterprises of innovation type. The government departments should construct technical innovation service platform for the enterprises and provide market opportunities. |
